SCOPE

Assured and sustained communications between application end-points is an emerging area of research which synergizes the fault-tolerance techniques in communications with the performance enhancing techniques. This has evolved into a new area of Middleware for Dependable Communications, dealing with generic hardware/software tools and models to control and manage communication infrastructures.

IAMCOM 2007 will thus offer a unique and focused forum for researchers from academia, government and industry to share ideas and disseminate new results in this important area.

Bangalore is the "silicon valley" India, with a large contingent of computer IT and communication industries (like Microsoft, IBM, HP, Nokia, Dell, Google, CISCO, General Motors, Honeywell, Infosys, Satyam, etc) having a substantial presence there. So, the workshop will also give an opportunity to connect with potential attendees from these industries.

  • IAMCOM is proud to announce a Best Student Paper award of USD 500.

  • Around 5 to 6 student travel grants will be awarded. Each award will average around USD 600 each, depending on the point-of-departure of the traveler and the mode of travel. A student must be the presenting author of a paper in order to qualify for the award.

Please join us in Bangalore for IAMCOM 2007!
